The Windows 8 skin pack is a transformation pack for Windows 7, which contains the expected Windows 8 features which have been speculated due to leaked screenshot images of the upcoming operating system and shown in Microsoft’s demo videos.
This skin pack can be installed with a simple setup wizard and provides the Windows 8 style Metro UI in Windows 7 (as demoed by Microsoft). You can grab this skin pack from the download link given at the end of this post and give your Windows 7, the Windows 8 Metro look today.
Note: Such skin packs are difficult to uninstall and cannot be undone by a mere system restore to revert the changes. Before installing the Windows 8 Skin Pack, do backup your computer to undo the changes (if desired). Also make sure that UAC (User Account Control) is disabled. We (Ali Waqas Informatics team) will not be responsible for any issues which may occur due to the installation of this theme.
Just download, unzip and run the setup. This will start an installation wizard. Click Next and accept the terms and conditions to proceed with the installation process
When installing this theme, you will be presented with the option to install numerous features. You can uncheck some of them if you like, (for example, you may not be interested in installing the wallpaper, visual styles, third party software, etc). Click on Install to install the theme pack.
After the installation is complete, reboot your system for the changes to take effect. Below is an example of how the theme will look like after installation.
